I've been looking for answers, but many online have been outdated since 2009 or 10. If you want to look at images on how it came off, simply look at the amazon reviews of the promag slide assembly 7 5/8 and you'll get a good handful. Is there any solution or possible replacement? I've looked around for a better mossberg 500 7 5/8 action slide assembly tube, but all I can find are the discontinued promag ones that I've heard many negative reviews about. This mainly happens when I fire it once with birdshots. Not only that, but the nut that holds the forend in place comes loose, no matter how much I tighten it on the threads.
